Greetings from Camp Perkins!
The morning air is brisk, but the days are warm. The leaves are starting to turn. As fall truly settles in to Camp Perkins, we are preparing for our fall shut down weekend, October 9-11. During this weekend we move the kitchen from the lodge to the Retreat Center, put away the waterfront, deep clean, and get out the winter equipment. But this year, we invite you to be a part of something even bigger…
deconstructing the climbing tower!

During the Fall Work Weekend, we would like to disassemble the climbing tower. By utilizing volunteers for this, camp can save nearly $3500. If we can gather sufficient help, then we can still get the new climbing tower up this fall! Come and help us prep for the winter – AND for the summer of 2010!
