Beautiful Savior is a member of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS). The LCMS is a family of over 2.5 million baptized members, and as such is the second largest Lutheran church body in North America and the 11th largest denomination in the USA.  The LCMS has 6,150 congregations throughout the United States. Our church body was founded in 1847 by a small band of American immigrants who were dedicated to preaching and teaching the Gospel of the forgiveness of sins through Christ alone. Many of the founders of our Synod were from Missouri, hence the word “Missouri” in our church’s name.
