Leah Steinbronn was born in Columbus, Nebraska to Rev. Dr. Anthony and Carol Steinbronn. She is the oldest of four children (the rest are boys…) Her family moved to Indiana when she was four. She attended elementary school at St. John Lutheran Church and School in Kendallville where her father served as Assistant Pastor. When she was 11, her family accepted a call to serve as missionaries to Southern Africa with LCMS - World Mission. They returned to the United States in April 2000 and Leah began her studies at Concordia University - Nebraska in Fall 2001. Leah completed her B.S. in Secondary Education in Mathematics and Physics with a Lutheran Teachers Diploma in December 2005.
Leah moved to Boise in the summer of 2006 to pursue her M.S. in Geophysics at Boise State University. She volunteered as the junior high youth leader at Beautiful Savior shortly after arriving in Boise. In May 2008, Beautiful Savior extended the call to Leah as the Director of Christian Education (DCE). Leah was installed on June 8, 2008 and is primarily responsible for the 5th-6th,
junior high,
senior high, young adult, and family ministries.
