Junior and Senior High Youth

You're Invited!
Who: All youth 6th - 12th
Where: BSLC Youth Room (upstairs)
When: Every Sunday at 10 a.m.
What: Bible study with Leah, of course!
We'll be looking at the Old Testament Kings, then moving onto the story of Jesus Christ around Christmas. Hope to see you there!
The junior and senior high youth are combined for Bible study each Sunday, and meet as a combined youth group for activities and as separate groups at different times of the month. A list of upcoming youth events is listed on the church bulletin board. If you have any questions, contact DCE Leah Steinbronn at dce@bslcboise.org or 367-1432.
Confirmation
Neil and Angela Neiwert teach confirmation. Please contact Leah Steinbronn or Pastor Barth for more information about our confirmation program.
Weekly Youth Bible Study (NOT during Sunday School!)
Every Monday while school is in session, the junior high and senior high youth will be meeting for a Bible Study. The youth pick the topic and we look at what the Bible has to say about it. The study is currently led by Leah Steinbronn, but if you are interested, you are welcome to try leading a session or two or more. The study is held at Leah's house, so for directions, please contact her at 367-1432 or email at dce@bslcboise.org.
Attention, High School Seniors
We encourage high school students to consider attending one of our affiliated Lutheran colleges after graduation.
National Youth Gathering 2010 - New Orleans, Louisiana
It's nearly time for the next National Youth Gathering! This time it will be held in the city of New Orleans on July 17 - 21, 2010. Youth, you must be between ages 15-19 and be entering your freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior year of high school or recently graduated from high school to be allowed to go. Parents, check out the NYG website for information about the city and to answer any questions you might have about the safety of the post-Katrina New Orleans.
