Our prayer quilt ministry supports people during challenging times with the comfort of a quilt and knowing that others care about them and are praying for them. Small quilts are prayed over and given to people who need support – someone like a cancer patient, someone who has lost a loved one, someone with a sick family member or friend, someone dealing with a health issue or stressful situation.
To ensure we’re ready when a prayer quilt is requested, we need to add a few
quilts to our supply. These quilts are small, lap or throw size, and can be made from any fabric and any pattern. Our immediate need is for quilts for adult recipients. If you can sew, we’d appreciate your help. You can take on an entire quilt, or you could just piece the top or offer to do the finishing quilting and binding.
