Beautiful Savior’s LWML (Lutheran Women in Mission) want to thank all who contributed to their diaper In-gathering during the month of May. A total of 4,048 diapers of all sizes (500 more than last year) and 4,920 wipes (700 more than last year) were donated.
“We packed Joy’s car completely and she delivered the diapers to the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry on Overland on June 3. They were very thankful for the large donation,” wrote LWML President Charlotte Schafer.
The diapers will be distributed to needy families with small children when the families pick up food boxes.
The LWML is now collecting eyeglasses, hearing aids, lenses and cases for the month of June. Please drop off donations in the big collection box on the table as you come for outdoor services.
